Making Strides in Mind-Body Fitness

The new Tamara Di Tella Method (Tangolates) maintains the basic mind-body principles of mind-body-methods such as Pilates, but adds the cardio element that is so important for burning calories and reducing inches.

 

 

 

The Tamara Di Tella Method--also called Tangolates-- adds cardio to stretching and balance exercises, sucha as Yoga or Pilates. It tones, it reliefs tension and, because of its aerobic characteristic, it increases blood flow and circulation.

Her innovative method succeeded in bridging the gap between mind-body and cardio regimens.
In addition, Tamara Di Tella is a journalist and a presenter as well as the author numerous articles and ten books o health and fitness issues, among which are: “Tamara Di Tella Pilates” and “The Tamara Di Tella Method: Tangolates”. Besides writing for magazines and newspapers, Tamara collaborates in a radio program. Her blog, as well as her websites are very visited and rank very high in search engines such as Google.

Tamara DI Tella is also the Director of the Tamara Di Tella Schools of Training where "teachers of teachers" form and certify young instructors-to-be. Firm believer in Social Responsibility, Tamara Di Tella’ company has donated a Rehabilitation Ward to a national public hospital for patients with severe dysfunctions of the motor system.

MY STORY

Hello, my name is Tamara Di Tella. I am a Ph.D. candidate from Stanford University and the daughter of a prestigious neurologist of Russian origin. In the year 2004, my Pilates company donated a Rehab Room to the Institute of Applied Neurosciences of a public hospital in Buenos Aires. Working with Parkinson patients I discovered that partner exercises helped them move more easily. I also found that the use of a highly focused rhythm like Tango made a huge difference. With the help of the medical doctors from the Hospital, I developed my new method, a cardio version of my classical Pilates. My method is called Tamara Di Tella (tangolates® or Tango Pilates), although most people prefer to call it The Tamara Di Tella Method. Gradually, my method evolved into what is today: an aerobic, core-control, calorie burning Pilates partner routines to perform on a special apparatus called T-DITELLA®. I still go to the hospital, but my method now grows in Academies of Dance and Pilates Studios in Latin America, Europe, the United States and Asia.

I am grateful to the medical doctors as well as the patients of the hospital who gave the opportunity to help and in so doing help me grow as a businesswoman and as a human being.

A born innovator, Tamara has recently introduced her new Tamara Di Tella Method (tangolates) which is taking the United Stated and Europe by storm.
